You've likely heard of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it's about time for people to put some respect on the Dick Wolf Cinematic Universe. Many of Dick Wolf's shows inhabit the same reality, and this can be seen in how some characters will start on one show and move into another. It's a fun way to treat fans to something special that they get by paying attention to all of the series.
However, one character has been found in Wolf's biggest hits of all time, namely Hank Voight (Jason Beghe). He got his start on "Chicago Fire" back in 2012, and appropriately enough for the windy city, Hank's gone with the wind to various other departments. Over the years, he's also shown up in recurring roles on "Law & Order: SVU," "Chicago Justice," "Chicago Med," and "Chicago P.D." That's more than can be said of any other character in the franchise, and if another "One Chicago" property ever materializes, it'd be a safe bet he'll crop up there at some point, too.
The only other character who comes close is Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda), who's appeared on every "One Chicago" series except for "Chicago Med." However, that show is still going strong, so there's always a chance for a cameo down the line.
