While season 5 of Below Deck Mediterranean was airing, Ferrier revealed on social media that she was expecting her first child with her now-fiancé Josh Roberts, according to People. On October 26, 2020, Ferrier and Roberts welcomed their baby girl to the world, and announced her arrival on Instagram. Hannah and her beaux are not married yet, but she has previously mentioned she's not in a rush to walk down the aisle.
In her professional life, Ferrier is now a podcast host as of August 2020. The former chief stew's new podcast is based on her old diaries, entitled Dear Diary, You're Effed. The show revolves around old stories from Ferrier's younger years, and explores how they parallel issues encountered by adults.
She also launched a new business in 2020 called the Ocean International Training Academy with former co-star Nastia Surmava, which helps yachting prospects enter the industry. Ferrier has mentioned how expensive it is to obtain a STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) to The Daily Dish, so she has created a program for prospects to figure out if yachting is something they really want to do, before dishing out the $2,000 it costs to get the certification necessary to enter the industry.
